Recently, PokerStars held a PSPC event with a record-breaking $25,000 buy-in. The World Series of Poker topped it off with a buy-in double the size. Also, the live poker tournament in the Bahamas will have a guaranteed prize of $50 million.

Following last year’s record-breaking $40 million World Poker Tour event at Wynn Las Vegas, this is the biggest guarantee ever seen in a live poker tournament. The World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2024 Paradise will again be co-hosted with its worldwide partner, GGPoker, who will send many qualifiers, strengthening the partnership. Over a thousand players were transported to the Caribbean by GGPoker last year, and this year, they want to send twice as many.

According to online bookie software experts, the World Series of Poker 2024 in Las Vegas is reaching its last day when this announcement is made. A record 10,112 players competed for the $94 million Main Event prize pool, and with three players left, the winner will take home $10 million.

Live Poker Tournament in the Bahamas

WSOP to Host a Live Poker Tournament in the BahamasTo meet the enormous $50,000,000 guarantee, the WSOP Super Main Event in the Bahamas would require a minimum of 2,000 entrants, given that the buy-in is set at $25,000. If this were to happen, it would be the biggest tournament ever, with a buy-in of $25,000.

At Atlantis Resorts in the Bahamas in 2019, 1,039 players flocked to PokerStars’ Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC), the biggest event with a $25,000 buy-in. With almost 300 players supplied by PokerStars for free in both editions, the 2023 tournament came close to matching this record, missing it by only twenty-two entrants. With any luck, GGPoker, WSOP’s online international partner, will step up its game.

According to bookie pay per head experts, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) has revealed that its revamped Paradise Festival will feature an unprecedented array of high-roller and super-high-roller tournaments. Officials have announced that buy-ins will range from $2,500 to $1 million, although the complete timetable will be announced later.

Featuring a record-breaking $50 million guarantee, the $25,000 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Championship will undoubtedly be the festival’s biggest draw. The press release states that GGPoker will launch its online qualifications and tournament promos.

WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas

When WSOP Paradise launched last year, the entire series was guaranteed $50 million. Only one event will guarantee that amount this year, which is a major undertaking. It will be the biggest live poker event outside Las Vegas’s World Series of Poker Main Event.

Several bracelet events may or may not be given this year. The first WSOP Paradise tournament in 2023 included a guaranteed prize pool of $50 million and 15 gold bracelets. The Main Event had a $15 million guarantee and required a $5,000 buy-in. Thanks to 3,010 submissions, the total prize pool of $15,050,000 was just above this amount.

Turnout was record-breaking for several events. Take the $1,500 buy-in Mystery Millions, for example; 3,446 players competed for a just over $5 million prize pool. 17,267 people entered the contest, and the show made $71.7 million. From December 6–19, 2024, the WSOP Paradise will be open again.
